About The Hostel Relax

Located in what is known as the Green Area of the 18th District of Budapest, Hostel Relax is certainly well named considering their primary focus is on providing you with a relaxing place to stay amidst the absolute chaos of Budapest that is going on right outside of your door. This is a hostel that can provide you with absolute bargain basement accommodation, but if you are worried that this means standards will be low, then think again as they deliver a pretty good package for next to no money.

It is approximately 15 minutes outside of the heart of the city, but that is not a bad thing at all. In actual fact, as you are in more of a residential area it does mean you are not going to be troubled by too much traffic or the madness that can be an issue in other hostels. However, the best part is the peace and quiet and this is going to ultimately lead to you being able to have a restful nights sleep which is perfect for the traveler that has crammed so much into the day that all they are looking for is a great place to chill.

The host is not only warm and welcoming, but is able to provide you with the kind of insider knowledge that can really make a stay in a brand new city. In next to no time you will find yourself dining in those restaurants that only the locals know about and they are certainly well worth a visit.

This hostel may be small, but in actual fact we recommend that you swap the word ‘small’ for ‘cosy’ because that is the exact feeling that you will get from the moment you arrive. The facilities may be basic, but what more do you want than a place that is clean, safe, and tidy? It delivers on those basics without going over the top and the result is that you just feel as if this is more like a home from home rather than a hostel.

Hostel Relax may not be in the heart of the nightlife area of Budapest, but it is still a place that is well worth checking out and using as your base when you are staying in this city. It is super friendly, the rooms are spacious enough and with small enough numbers staying there that it does not feel cramped and ultimately you are getting a good place to stay for virtually no money at all.
